Asif Rasool is the Head Coach of Roxburgh Park Broadmeadows Cricket Club, experienced from Milo cricket, both at juniors, and seniors level. He is representing the club as a Level 2 coach. He helped Latrobe University cricket club to win 3 shields in 3 consecutive years. He is a talented all Rounder scoring nearly 300 runs. He performs his duties in an equitable manner and actively promotes the principles of equity amongst the team. He has vast experience of domestic game and knowledge of the requirements to be successful at both domestic and international level as a player and a coach. He was named in top 5 bowlers in A grade season 2019/2020- Eastern Cricket Association.
Asif has the ability to influence others, with excellent team building and collaboration skills. He focuses on innovative leadership to create a learning and participative environment. He provides the vision, energy, and passion for RPBCC so that others follow willingly and in a fully committed way. He also got technical skills to manage the team professionally. Plus, He is a very positive person who is always cool under pressure and is able to hold things together even during tough times.
Asif, as a head coach, is very responsible in developing, implementing, and leading world class campaigns that enhances the long-term capability of our players to compete internationally. He prepares them to perform consistently and successfully at domestic level. He leads the team on and off the cricket field to the highest possible standards of excellence and professionalism, which indirectly strengthens building up the RPBCC and its reputation.
