Harbir Singh Batth (Harry)

The Club Secretary of Roxburgh Park Broadmeadows Cricket Cub started playing club level cricket back in 2012 on Australian soil. Since then, it is an ongoing journey. The passion for cricket gives him extraordinary energy to perform and give 100 percent on the field. Anything in life having worth comes from patience and hard work. He is an off-spinner and received a compliment “Magician” to take wickets on any pitch at any level.

Doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moments. During these eight years, Harry has won 9 trophies as a leading wicket-taker for the club and at the grade level. By accepting his duties for the RPBCC, Harry works with a diverse community to uplift and raise cricket standards on a lower level. As RPBCC’s secretary, he is responsible for managing, collecting, reviewing, and disseminating the club’s information and knowledge (e.g. policies and procedures, position descriptions etc).

Harry has learned the value of hard work by working hard. The best teamwork comes from men who are working independently toward one goal in unison. He can assure, as a club, that RPBCC has a very bright future ahead.

“The price of success is nothing but hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.”
